Resume Template plugin privacy policy

Operator and scope

This policy describes the Resume Template ChatGPT plugin operated by Marius Manolachi. Contact: mariusmanolachi2020@gmail.com. It covers the plugin backend and these information pages, rather than all processing performed by ChatGPT or third-party websites.

Information processed

When you request a document, ChatGPT sends structured résumé information to our backend. This can include your name, professional title, email, telephone number, location, website, summary, employment history, dates, achievements, education, skills, languages, optional photo and design settings. Tool responses can return this content for revisions, together with a private document handle, revision, export status, expiry time, preview and PDF links.

Purpose

We use this information to validate, format, render, preview, download and revise the résumé you requested. The backend does not call a separate AI model API. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information or information about others that you are not entitled to use.

Providers and access

The service uses Cloudflare Workers, Durable Objects and Browser Rendering for hosting, temporary storage and document generation. Data may be processed on provider infrastructure in multiple countries. The operator and infrastructure provider can access stored data. ChatGPT processes your conversation and tool results under OpenAI’s own policies; this policy does not control OpenAI retention.

Retention and deletion

Drafts and generated PDFs/previews expire 24 hours after creation. Revisions do not extend this period. The service denies access after expiry and schedules deletion from active application storage. Successful revisions replace old document content and artifacts. This does not erase copies you downloaded or shared, content retained by ChatGPT, support correspondence or any provider backups. There is no user-facing early deletion tool in this release.

Security and usage data

Complete private handles and file links grant access to their temporary documents. Keep them confidential. Requests include network information such as an IP address; the backend uses derived IP keys and counters to limit exports and abuse. Application observability is disabled and the backend does not intentionally log résumé contents, credentials or private links. Infrastructure providers may process operational information under their own policies. These information pages add no advertising, tracking scripts or cookies.

Support and privacy requests

Email sent to mariusmanolachi2020@gmail.com is handled through Gmail and is separate from document storage. Contact the operator about access, correction, deletion or other privacy questions; applicable privacy rights are not limited by this policy. Please first describe your request without including a full résumé or private links. We may need information to locate a document and confirm that a request is authorized.
